Mike has been appointed as the Managing Director of CompuScan CRB Ltd in Uganda. He has spent the last fifteen years in the credit information industry working as a senior specialist in commercial and consumer credit bureaus where he has had the opportunity to obtain insight and knowledge into many different organizations’ credit, fraud and risk policies.

Chief Executive Officer of iVeri Payment Technologies

Barry is the Chief Executive Officer of iVeri Payment Technologies, the company he founded in 1994. Based in South Africa, Barry has dedicated the last decade to developing IT solutions to improve transactional banking in emerging markets and specifically in Africa. Through iVeri, Barry has created technology which is being used to address the transactional requirements in South Africa, Namibia, Rwanda, Nigeria and Kenya. Barry is a regular speaker on the topic of Payments and Transactions and over the years has presented papers at dozens of international conferences.

HODA SHOUKRY
Managing Director, Mediterranean Smart Cards Company

Mrs. Hoda Shoukry joined Mediterranean Smart Cards Company (MSCC) in July 2006 as Managing Director. In this role, Mrs. Shoukry is entrusted with taking MSCC to the next level in terms of regional leadership in smart card processing services. She has been involved in MSCC for a number of years as an active member of the board. Mrs. Shoukry headed and was a board member for a number of key organizations such as the Credit Bureau Committee in the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), MasterCard Strategic & Market Advisors Group, in addition to lecturing in a number of organizations.

DENIZ KARAN
Business Development Manager, NXP Semiconductors, EMEA

Deniz Karan has over 16 years of International experience in the IT/Telecoms Industry having worked for large blue chip companies including Nortel Networks. She has had diverse roles including Sales, Channel management, Marketing and Strategic Planning. She has a BSc from Istanbul Technical University in “Electrical Engineering” and a “ Diploma in Management Studies” from Kingston University, UK.
In 2004 she joined Philips Electronics NV where she was responsible for the Business Development activities of Philips Semiconductors in the field of Integrated Circuits (IC's) for SmartCards and RFID-tags for the European Market. In October 2006, Philips divested this Semiconductor division, which today goes by the name of NXP Semiconductors. In the past one year, she has been working from Istanbul, Turkey and overseeing activities in Turkey and neigbouring countries.

Stephen J. Leonard is Chief Executive Officer of PIC Solutions International, the leading specialist credit risk solutions company in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He has over 20 years of credit risk management experience in the banking and consulting industries, including Chase Manhattan Bank and Fair Isaac Corporation. After 7 years of credit, risk and fraud management roles in the New York banking industry, he joined the start-up of Fair Isaac International in Great Britain. There he established and successfully grew the risk management consulting practice for the Europe Middle East Africa region. He has managed assignments with over 150 clients in 30+ countries, covering the entire credit life cycle.

KIRBIN VLADEN

Vladlen Kirbin is recently the Head of Foreign Sales of the ROSAN Company, a Moscow based worlds top ten EMV smart card manufacturer (as ranked by Nilson Report in 2008). Vladlen has held this position since June 2008 after his employment as a National Sales Manager for Russia by TBC (US based MNC) and was hired to both enhance and structure ROSAN’s international expansion and to boost sales in Moscow and Lagos offices (SecureID, Nigeria). Vladlen holds a degree in International Business (USEU, Russia), an associate degree in Banking (Pace U., New York) and has over 13 years of sales experience mostly in financial trading and FMCG sales management, dealing mainly with sophisticated hi tech products.

SEUNG LEE
Project Manager, EMV Programs with TechTrex Inc

Mr. Seung Lee is a Project Manager, EMV Programs with TechTrex Inc. He has over 8 years of experience in the bank card industry. His work at TechTrex includes detail managing of EMV programs to ensure on-time and quality development as per customer requirements. Mr. Lee is a Project manager of various financial products, such as POS terminals PINpad, SSL GATE, ATM Manager, EMV Card implementation and EMV consulting for overseas customers.
Previously Seung was a Project Manager, Smart Card Program for NBS Technologies. Seung has spent extensive time serving many installations of NBS in all parts of the world. Examples of EMV Countries he has served and visited include: Malaysia, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania and Turkey.
Seung has also previously worked in BC Card, Korea, a leading MasterCard issuer and MULTOS user in South Korea.
Seung graduated from KWANG-WOON UNIVERSITY, Seoul, Korea, with a degree of Bachelor of Computer Science. In addition, he has completed a project management development program in Toronto..
